Formed by Big Tom and Brother Dick out of boredom in 1993 with their incredible recording 'Poor Bobby Rupp', which lead to the recording of the double platinum cassette 'Catch the Fever'. It was during the creation of 'Catch the Fever' that Big Brother Harry was added as an official member of Big Brother. 'Catch the Fever', a very experimental album, was created by more than half a dozen musicians in 1995. It received nothing but rave reviews in the select magazines it was sent too. They also arranged personal delivery of a copy to Ween, who prompty discarded it, just as was dictated in the GMP.

As soon as 'Catch the Fever" was completed, work on the next album, 'the Blank Years' begun. The main artists not only worked together to record 'the Blank Years', but also split into smaller groups. This resulted in a album which showcases some very diverse music styles. 'The Blank Years' is is a double-cd set with 100 songs. Production quality has greatly improved since 'Catch the Fever' in a variety of ways, but still has that unique Big Brother character...

The Blank Years was 3 years in production (Catch the fever only took 2 years). During that time, Joey Joe Jo has been employed as a full time member, and a tonne of guests have dropped in.

As production for 'The Blank Years' came to an end a new live line-up was introduced. The line-up consisted of Big Tom, Brother Dick, Big Brother Harry, Joey Jo Joe, and Rabbi Doctor Ishtar Nasrad. One year later Uncle Walter was added for his pooplicious wailing and dancetastic antics.
